Where Are Markets Going?

Global EconomyWith world markets in a meltdown, what is the future looking like?

Simply put, very bad, at least in the short-term. The DOW is expected to drop precipitously but we're keeping our expectations for DOW 8000.

Markets around the globe are feeling the pain of bad financial management and it's time for national leaders to gather together and set forth an international regulatory scheme that all nations interested in working collectively participate in, without hesitation or variance.

Without an international financial regulations treaty, setting forth what each participating nation may permit and must regulate, we face the risk of future international financial calamity.

We see the potential risk of some nations reducing the value of their currency to Weimar Republic levels, when people needed a wheel-barrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread.

Conversely, we see the opportunity to establish a global currency and banking system that works. With every danger, there is opportunity.

Which would you prefer?
